So after some serious discussion about school, work, and our new marriage, my husband and I have decided to try to conceive. With the knowledge about my age and my health (Not that I'm old, don't get any ideas, you whippersnappers) we both felt like it was important to at least go ahead and start our journey, and if we get pregnant, then we'll praise God. And if we don't, we will go from there. Continuing with school and our lives.
I'm a little bit overwhelmed at the moment. As I said, I'm not old, but with one ovary and that ever-fateful 35 approaching faster every day, I don't want to be stuck with my ONE dream out the window because I didn't act soon enough. I don't want to sacrifice his masters degree or my bachelors or law degree for a child, and I'm one of those people who just feels like she can do it all. I'm sure I'm mistaken. But what the heck. Why not try? So here we go. I'm sure you'll hear more about this journey, but with my history of trying to conceive unsuccessfully, I'm hoping this time we'll be successful.
